The Orbit Code segment of Cartoon Cartoon Fridays served as a way to relay to Cartoon Network's viewers a special code that could be used to redeem an electronic sticker known as a cToon on Cartoon Network's online trading card game Cartoon Orbit. Orbit segments began around the time of Cartoon Orbit's launch in 2000 and ran until the end of the block in 2003. Redeeming codes allowed the player to obtain one or more cToons, virtual trading cards featuring the likenesses of Cartoon Network characters. Bonus cToons would be awarded to the player for redeeming codes on the night of the Cartoon Cartoon Fridays broadcast.
